A study was conducted by Georgia Southern University to determine just how effective brand image was. The study was divided in two groups. The experimental group received an imprinted promotional item and the control group received nothing.
The study determined that the group receiving the promotional product was 38% more likely to recommend the business to others than the group that received nothing. In addition, immediately following the survey, the company who provided the promotional products experienced a 10-15% increase in sales. A 5-10% increase in new customers was also reported.
